Wonderful Nelson McCoy Unipet Upjohn Cat food Treat Lidded Bowl 1966 A

Description

This particular bowl was produced by Upjohn for the marketing by brush McCoy from 1966 to 1968 in Kalamazoo Michigan. It measures 5 1/2 inches high with the lid in place and has a small cat bell inside that when the lid is lifted will ring to let kitty know that her treat is ready. The bell in this case a small metal fragment is missing but can easily be replaced by any small metal object that you can tie on the end of the string. The bottom reads the Upjohn Company on the perimeter and in the center is the word Unipet. This reference is provided by Sanford‘s McCoy pottery guide. There is a tiny ding to the edge of the terra cotta colored lid.
